Every day we enjoy the availability of so many great products and services: delivered at the right spot, in time, in the right quantity and quality. Companies like Coca-Cola even have a goal to be anywhere where we might need a refreshment: at home, in the office, at restaurants and many public places. When we enjoy these benefits, we don’t want to be confronted with the fact that the production and delivery included a lot of waste of time and resources. The footprint should be as small as possible. How to make this happen? Just focusing on recycling the tin can is not enough. Only when there are ambitions and tools to optimize the use of resources from start to finish, the footprint can be minimized.
