The energy transition as well as today’s needs for energy require energy companies to continue to invest in new solutions and facilities. This involves large construction designs and capital investments in LNG facilities, Blue Hydrogen facilities, offshore wind farms, etcetera. As these projects can be on the order of billions of euros, estimating their costs accurately is of great importance. Together with one of our energy clients, we have developed an application to help their estimators to derive these costs, by developing models for the various types of projects involved. As an (Junior) Analytics Consultant – Energy you play an important role in improving and further developing this application.
