As ORTEC’s next Corporate Communications Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a global, data-driven tech company working on a variety of projects that shape how our story is told.

You will report directly to the External Communications Specialist, while also collaborating closely with the entire Corporate Communications team. This means you’ll get the best of both worlds: insight into strategic planning and practical experience in producing and publishing content across multiple channels.

What you’ll do

• With support and guidance, you’ll work on a variety of exciting tasks, such as:
• Creating content for our external and internal channels, such as the website, social media, intranet, and newsletters covering themes like AI, sustainability, innovation, and diversity & inclusion
• Contributing to the development of global campaigns focused on PR and thought leadership.
• Assisting in the creation and distribution of newsletters for both internal and external audiences.
• Helping prepare, schedule, and publish content on ORTEC’s social media platforms.
• Publishing and optimizing website content in our CMS, including visuals, formatting, and basic SEO best practices.
• Analyzing the performance of our content across channels and target groups.
• Assisting with the collection and organization of analytics data to help measure communications performance.
• Providing flexible support for special projects, events, and other communications initiatives.

*There is a possibility to combine this working internship with part-time thesis research approved and guided by your university.

This is a hands-on role where you will learn practical, transferable skills in corporate communications while contributing meaningfully to real world projects.

• You are in the final year of your bachelor’s or master’s in communications, marketing, media, or a related field.
• You enjoy writing, designing, and planning creative content and you love learning new things.
• Digitally savvy and comfortable using tools from Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
• Basic SEO knowledge is a plus (we will teach you if you haven’t worked with it before).
• You are proactive, eager to learn, and not afraid to ask questions or take initiative.
• You enjoy working with others and contributing to a collaborative, international team.
• You have excellent English communication skills. Dutch is a plus but not required.
• You are available for 40 hours per week for at least five months, starting in January 2026 (with a 2-hours handover meeting mid-December).
• Availability to work at least 3 days per week in the Zoetermeer office.
