The Education Factory: Cheers to six educational years

Today, we celebrated in two-fold: the sixth anniversary of ORTEC’s Education Factory, while kicking-off another learning season. As we believe learning is a never-ending journey, we offer ORTEC employees continuous learning opportunities. Through The Education Factory, ORTEC’s internal academy, we offer trainings to our global workforce. From soft skills to data science and for starters to senior professionals: there are learning possibilities for everyone. This year, the curriculum has expanded again, now offering 113 different courses.
Celebration time
“In a rapidly changing world, lifelong learning is very important for ORTEC to stay relevant", says Luc Analbers, Manager Operations L&D at the Education Factory. And as we’re so eager to learn at ORTEC, we also like to celebrate that another learning season has started. From our offices all over the world, we celebrated the opening ceremony of the Education Factory with some nice treats, kicking-off another educational year.
Learning for everyone
The Education Factory trainings are offered across multiple knowledge areas: from data science to soft skills and from technology to sales. To make the trainings available for the global workforce, the Education Factory offers many of its trainings in different time zones, and online as well as live. Besides the diversity in topics, there are also various levels: from starters to senior professionals.

“We’re excited to see many registrations. By today, 548 employees have already subscribed for at least one of the Education Factory courses,” says Luc Analbers proudly. Most of the trainings are provided by enthusiastic ORTEC-employees (101 internal trainings), and some by external parties (12 external trainings).
Last year, The Education Factory trained over 530 employees and the trainings were well received: they were graded with an 8.4 out of 10 on average and trainers got an outstanding grade of over a 9 out of 10.
