As the benefits of data science become clearer, many organizations struggle to attract the right talent because it’s in short supply. Data science, however, does not exist in a vacuum. A large part of this demand is for people in ‘traditional’ business roles, who need to understand and make use of data science and analytics to support their activities. We founded The Analytics Academy to help you educate, train and develop analytics capabilities throughout all layers of your organization. We provide training and education to cover a wide spectrum of roles - from experienced, ‘technical’ data scientists, data engineers and analysts to middle management, C-level management and front- line staff. The Analytics Academy designs and executes a made-to-measure capability building strategy that delivers value throughout your organization. We have provided training ranging from 1-day sessions to year-long programs.
We think it’s vital to provide state-of-the-art knowledge while ensuring that knowledge is properly adopted through practical training and community building. Our university lecturers and experts mix formal lessons and exercises with on-the-job training by experienced practitioners (data engineers, translators, data scientists, project leads, etc.). By combining theory with practice, we ensure impactful and lasting education.
The Analytics Academy takes a made-to-measure approach to education design, where we carefully balance the training needs of the client with the education type, participant base level, availability, and budget. With these boundaries in mind, we develop a curriculum from our many proven learning modules. We also collect extensive feedback during the program in order to make adjustments based on participants’ preferences.
Many organizations struggle to assess their current analytics capabilities. To help you address this question, we’ve developed a skill scan to measure each team member’s competency and, as a result, the analytics capabilities of the organization as a whole. This assessment involves several interviews, surveys and a numeric test, and results in an extensive report that matches your capabilities with the skills needed in a certain data science role. The scan also sets a baseline for further education.
