Junior IT Support

The IT support team offers technical assistance in the areas of support, systems, and application management. Due to the nature of ORTEC’s activities, the systems we work with are complex and diverse. Virtually all employees at ORTEC have a technical background – it’s in our DNA! This requires extensive knowledge of the systems and environment within the IT support department. The department functions as a skilled service desk, meaning tasks are often complex. This gives you the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills.

Your daily tasks may include:

• Installing hardware, (virtual) servers, or software
• Supporting projects
• Testing and registering hardware and software
• Resolving incidents from start to finish

Of course, we take our work seriously, but a little humor and a smile are just as important. We often have lunch together, and earlier this year, we even organized a rally with the entire team! As part of ORTEC’s IT support department, you’ll work from our office in Bucharest and provide support for ORTEC worldwide during office hours.

As part of ORTEC’s IT support team, you will be based at our office in Bucharest. 

We’re open to new colleagues with or without work experience (0-2 years). Above all, we’re looking for someone who is flexible and resilient under pressure.

·      You have an college/university level of education or experience, ideally in IT. A bachelor’s degree in IT is a plus.

·      You are flexible and able to perform well under pressure.

·      You have strong customer service and communication skills.

·      You live in the Bucharest and are fluent in Romanian and English, both spoken and written.
