The new release introduces many exciting features developed based on feedback from our customers and the broader operations research. We have also enhanced existing functionality.
ORTEC Inventory Routing 12 extends the forecasting engine machine learning with usage analysis and safety stock calculation functionality. This results in improved performance and forecasting results. The new release also comes with new order generation functionality that lets you consolidate the usage of multiple tanks. Moreover, product stock limitations on depots have been added in the Route optimization.
We added a module for Combined Storage which includes Consolidated Storages functionality to calculate demand and orders for a group of tanks.
We added Product Stock availability per depot to the route optimization module. The feature validates whether assigned loads on a depot do not exceed the available product amount.
Ideal for liquid distribution companies, the inventory routing solution dynamically forecasts demand and schedules deliveries, resources, and loads.
