ORTEC Routing and Dispatch 12 goes beyond the capabilities of an APS, supporting collaboration between shippers and carriers, and making it possible to communicate directly with warehouses and drivers. Warehouse order consolidation for retail store delivery
ORTEC has implemented several solutions for customers looking for warehouse order consolidation. This is now a native feature in Routing and Dispatch 12. The solution makes it possible to bundle smaller warehouse pick orders in one general delivery order for store delivery. This makes route planning more efficient and provides a better overview of transportable orders, thereby increasing ease of use. Performance Analysis: The first step to better decision making
The performance analysis solution allows you to use operational data to evaluate metrics that are important to your business. The solution is made up of two components:
- Data preprocessing to convert raw operational data into analytics-ready data.
- Three interactive analyses – Routing Scorecard, Customer Scorecard and Driver Scorecard – which combine the data into consumable metrics and visuals that help you understand operational efficiencies from multiple perspectives
Cloud maps for ORTEC SaaS customers
A new cloud maps functionality includes support for congestion patterns. Improved Carrier Portal
ORTEC’s cloud native Carrier Portal is an extension of the Routing and Dispatch solution, helping shippers and carriers improve communication and share executable routes. With the updated Carrier Portal it's now possible to have a mix of shipper-owned and carrier fleets. It also allows carriers to assign their own resources, request different arrival times, monitor the results and give feedback to the shipper.
