The SDGs for a better and more sustainable future

“The coronavirus pandemic has hit our society during its transition to a greener, more inclusive and fair economy. At the same time, people and organizations are uniting on the road to recovery. The SDGs are vital for a recovery that leads to a more sustainability-driven economy”, says Michael van Duijn, CEO at ORTEC. “It’s important we stand together and commit to achieve these 17 goals on our road to a better world.”

About the SDGs

The SDGs are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all and address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace, and justice. To learn more about the 17 goals, click here

To help support in achieving these SDGs, ORTEC joined the United Nations Global Compact - the largest sustainability initiative in the world - in 2017. It is a voluntary pact to encourage businesses worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies, based on ten principles linked strongly to the SDGs.
