As part of our growing European sales organization, we are looking for a motivated Manager Sales & Accounts to strengthen our presence in Germany.

As Sales & Accounts Manager , you will play a key role in expanding ORTEC’s footprint in the European Retail market with a focus on Germany. You will manage and grow existing customer relationships while identifying new opportunities to sell and upsell our software solutions. Working closely together with an international sales team, you will contribute to revenue growth through strategic account management, business development, and collaborative lead generation initiatives.


What you will do:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects in Germany and across Europe, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Pursue, and follow up on leads, arranging meetings to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations that showcase our Retail proposition to potential clients in close collaboration with the Business Consultant team
  • Collaborate with the international marketing team to develop market strategies for Germany
  • Expand your professional network and enhance your social media presence to drive engagement.
  • Manage sales cycles and ensure timely follow-up on opportunities
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to align on objectives, performance, and future growth opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and client visits; travel within Germany and Europe (approximately twice per month) to support business development

Who are you

  • Strong knowledge of the DACH/European market, with fluency in German and English
  • Minimum 5 years of experience preferably within the Retail Industry
  • Proven experience in software sales or technology-based solutions
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills, with experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, results-driven, and able to work with deadlines and sales targets
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate in an international environment
  • Willingness to travel within Europe
  • Educated with a Bachelor or Master degree
