ORTEC, a leading provider of advanced analytics and optimization solutions, announced today that Lisa Beck, recently promoted Vice President of Marketing, has been named a 2025 Women in Supply Chain Award recipient by Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive. Beck is honored in the Trailblazers category, which recognizes female leaders with more than 10 years of documented experience in supply chain and logistics who are paving the way for the next generation of women in the industry.

With over two-thirds of her career dedicated to the logistics and supply chain industry, Beck exemplifies dynamic leadership and innovative communication. During her four-year tenure as Director of Marketing and Lead Generation at ORTEC—culminating in her recent promotion to VP of Marketing—she has spearheaded strategic initiatives that align corporate goals with powerful demand generation. Beck has successfully leveraged digital, social, and traditional marketing channels to elevate ORTEC’s brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and strengthen the company’s position in a competitive market.

Beck’s career path spans influential roles across corporate logistics, public sector transportation communications, and supply chain software marketing. She previously led marketing communications for UPS Logistics Technologies’ Roadnet routing and scheduling solutions, managed communications for new transportation technologies and safety campaigns with Integrated Designs for the Maryland Department of Transportation, and oversaw supply chain operations, product launches, and event marketing at Nutramax Laboratories. Her ability to blend technical knowledge with creative storytelling has consistently driven measurable business growth and set her apart as a leader.

At ORTEC, Beck has cultivated a collaborative, high-performing marketing team, launched advanced digital lead generation programs that delivered double-digit growth in qualified leads, and developed thought leadership initiatives that significantly increased executive visibility and industry engagement. Her leadership philosophy emphasizes mentorship, inclusivity, and authenticity—values that have shaped a workplace culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

“As a former recipient of this recognition myself and having worked closely with Lisa for more than four years, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of her strategic vision, creativity, and commitment to empowering others,” said Daphne de Poot, Vice President of Product for ORTEC. “Her ability to inspire teams, drive innovative marketing strategies, and foster a collaborative culture has made a lasting mark, not only on ORTEC, but on the broader logistics and supply chain community. This Trailblazer honor is a well-deserved acknowledgment of her influence and leadership.”

Beck’s guidance to aspiring women in the industry centers on taking initiative, making their voices heard, and embracing authenticity. She is passionate about mentorship, encouraging women to seek guidance, invest in professional relationships, and in turn, support others navigating their careers.

“I’m honored to be recognized among so many talented women making an impact in supply chain,” said Beck. “This award is not only a reflection of my journey but of the mentors, colleagues, and teams who have inspired and supported me along the way.”
