What will your internship with us look like

As the Global Corporate Communications team (5 people) we are the gatekeeper of effective and consistent communications internally and externally. In our daily work, we focus on employee engagement and awareness of our key priorities, building our reputation and thought leadership, and ultimately supporting ORTEC’s continued growth and success. To achieve those goals, we translate the most complex material into understandable and appealing content. Content that is distributed using creative concepts and (international) campaigns, both internally and externally. 

We have plenty of challenges you can help us with, for example:

• Develop content for our internal and/or external channels, together with our inhouse studio.
• Create news messages to keep our website and internal communication platform up to date.
• Coordinate internal gatherings, townhalls and other (both digital and physical) events. 
• Maintain our social media channels and come up with, and publish interesting social media updates.
• Work on exciting external PR and Thought Leadership campaigns
• Communicate ORTEC’s impact on sustainability and CSR via the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
• And much more! 

There is a possibility to combine this working internship with part-time thesis research approved and guided by your university.  

• You are in your last year of your bachelor’s or Masters in marketing, communications, media or other relevant studies
• You are online savvy: you perfectly know how to make impact with the content you developed 
• You like to engage with and get to know your colleagues and peers, helping us put to the Corporate Communications team further on the map and building your network
• You are eager to learn and achieve results, not afraid to take charge nor afraid to ask questions
• You master the English language on a professional level, both verbally as well as written. Speaking Dutch is a plus.
• You are available 32 – 40 hours for a minimum of five months starting March 2025 (with handover for a few days at the end of February), so you have time to get to know ORTEC, to understand its communication challenges and make your mark on our organization.
