Job description

Our goal is to boost operational efficiency, improve resource management, and support growth for organizations across various industries.

We have three business units at ORTEC in the Netherlands: Supply Chain Planning, Workforce Management, and Data Science & Consultancy. For each division, we are looking for a Team Leader Business Administration.


In this role, you will be managing and developing the business administration team (8-10 team members) located across several countries. This team focuses on project, contract and sales administration and customer invoicing. You are responsible for efficient and accurate processing of financial customer related administration. You monitor quality, deadlines, and workload distribution and you can optimize operations with a strong sense of the human element. You are a link between departments and a partner to senior leadership and you translate goals into practical execution. Moreover, you will identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve and streamline processes. You will focus on enhancing our business, compliance and reporting through controlling, automation, and standardization.


Who are you

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent working level;
  • A natural leader with a keen eye for administrative processes and optimalization;
  • Proven experience as people manager in Finance or leading a team in a similar commercial finance role;
  • The ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth environment;
  • Strong process-oriented thinking, analytical skills, and communication skills;
  • Able to motivate and develop your team;
  • Hands-on, willing to dive into the details and do things yourself;
  • Experienced with ERP systems and reporting tools;
  • Experienced in SaaS or consultancy businesses is a plus;
  • Professional level in English and Dutch;
  • You are available for 32-40 hours a week;
  • You live in the Netherlands, and you can travel to the Zoetermeer office at least twice a week.
