ORTEC Shares Progress in 2024 Sustainability Report

While creating a positive impact in partnership with its customers, ORTEC is also committed to advancing sustainability within its own operations. ORTEC demonstrates its commitment to sustainability through initiatives such as the following:

• Climate & Environmental Action: We’re committed to transparent reporting and measurable emission reductions, ORTEC reduced Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 24% and total emissions by 11% in 2024.
• Diversity and inclusion initiatives: We launched new initiatives to foster diversity and inclusion. Most notably, women’s representation in senior management increased from 10% to 19%.
• Social Impact: Together with Analytics for a Better World (ABW) we’ve contributed to global initiatives empowering nonprofits to leverage data analytics for social change.
• Responsible AI: As AI becomes more integral to operations, ORTEC upholds strong principles around transparency, fairness, and data privacy.

The full report is prepared in alignment with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and offers deeper insights into ORTEC’s SBTi commitments, such as 42% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, 25% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2030 and achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. These targets are currently under development and will be submitted for formal validation by the SBTi.
