Junior IT Support

The IT support team offers technical assistance in the areas of support, systems, and application management for all our offices spread across 13 countries. ORTEC is the world’s largest provider of mathematical optimization software and advanced analytics. This means the systems we work with are both complex and versatile, and nearly all ORTEC employees have a strong technical background. As a skilled service desk department, this requires extensive knowledge of systems and the work environment. Your daily responsibilities include:

·      Installing hardware, laptops, and/or software

·      Testing and registering hardware and software

·      Supporting projects, with the opportunity to propose and execute your own initiatives

·      Resolving incidents from start to finish

·      Balancing serious tasks with a bit of humor and camaraderie

As part of ORTEC’s IT support team, you will be based at our office in Bucharest. 

You have at least 2–4 years of experience in a (complex) IT support environment, preferably within IT consultancy.

·      You have an college/university level of education or experience, ideally in IT. A bachelor’s degree in IT is a plus.

·      You are flexible and able to perform well under pressure.

·      You live in the Bucharest and are fluent in Romanian and English, both spoken and written.
