Job description

As a Junior Implementation Consultant, you are the link between the customer and the software. You help implement ORTEC for Field Service (OFS): a cloud-native platform that uses advanced optimization and AI-driven decision support to plan technician schedules and service routes, improve appointment performance, and reduce travel time and operational cost.


Field service operations are dynamic: urgent jobs arrive unexpectedly, technicians may become unavailable, and plans change during the day. OFS supports continuous optimization and helps organizations respond faster to disruptions while improving service reliability.


Depending on the customer context, OFS can be used as a stand-alone scheduling and optimization platform or as an optimization layer integrated via secure APIs into an existing Field Service Management system.


What you will do

You will typically work on multiple projects in parallel, each in a different phase, which gives you a lot of variety and a steep learning curve. In this role you will:

  • Analyze customer planning processes and translate them into a practical OFS solution approach.
  • Configure OFS to match the agreed design.
  • Support integration of OFS into the customer’s application landscape.
  • Prepare and support testing and go-live.
  • Train and guide users and document the solution setup.


Your onboarding & growth

From day one you will be supported by experienced colleagues and learn the craft on real customer projects—starting together and taking more ownership as you grow.

You will develop skills across analysis, configuration, integration, go-live support, and stakeholder communication.

Who are you

  • Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in a technical or analytical field.
  • Recent graduate or up to a few years of experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and quality focus.
  • Communicative, people and customer oriented.
  • Curious and eager to learn.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, both spoken and written.


Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of databases, SQL and Python.
  • Interest in APIs and system integrations.

What we offer

In addition to a permanent contract and a competitive salary:

  • Year-end bonus (13th month)
  • Mobility allowance of 3% of your gross monthly salary, including commuting and business travel reimbursement (or the option for an NS Business Card)

  • Salary range €3190-€3595 (depending on experience & interview evaluations)
  • 25 vacation days, with additional days from the age of 35
