As a Lead Functional Application Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the ORTEC application landscape, while also building and developing a full functional application management team. The application management team is part of the IT & Security department with more than 30 enthusiastic colleagues.
The current team of 5 contractors focuses on the day-to-day functional application management of our Exact ERP Solution. However, we are on a transformative journey to transition from our all-in-one ERP solution to a suite of best-of-breed products. We are in the middle of the implementation of Zendesk as our new ticketing solution for customer support and a selection process for CRM is ongoing. You will play a key role in this transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
· Manage daily operations and ensure the smooth functionality of various best-of-breed business applications.
· Lead the transformation from an all-in-one ERP solution to best-of-breed products, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
· Coordinate with suppliers to ensure effective application support and maintenance.
· Develop and implement best practices for functional application management.
· Provide leadership and mentorship to the functional application management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of business processes with application functionalities.
· Excellent communication skills in English.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Strong experience with functional application management of business applications like CRM, HRM, Ticketing and/or ERP. Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, Exact Synergy Enterprise and/or Exact Globe is a plus.
· Experience with implementation and/or application management of financial management systems is highly desirable.
· Proven track record of leading software implementation projects.
· Excellent project management and organizational skills.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
· Knowledge of best practices in functional application management and experience implementing these practices in a professional setting.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
