Job Description:

Work on ORTEC’s Routing and Dispatch software, dynamic vehicle routing solution-based technologies in vehicle routing optimization products. Play a pivotal role in the implementation of ORTEC software at medium to large customers. Act as the owner of the successful technical delivery of the ORTEC solution throughout the different stages of the software implementation life cycle. Participate in requirements gathering to understand customer business needs and, together with ORTEC solution architect, translate into a design utilizing ORTEC's Routing and Dispatch software. Work closely with project manager(s) to define and monitor project scope/progress and project plan adherence. Define work packages for the project consultants and act as owner of successful delivery of the end-to-end designed solution throughout the different project phases: Master date import and export; creation of interfaces using SQL, XML. And XSL; configure software; front end (GUI) configuration of the software; and creation and execution of internal test scenarios. Support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing Training (train-the-trainer, technical training). Perform effective deployment to customer environments; Baselining and optimization tuning; hypercare support; and Transition to global customer support. Act as supply chain business consultant and product expert within the context of the ORTEC Routing and Dispatch. Oversee adherence of implementation team to defined project approach/tools, processes, and technology. Responsible for quality of project delivery. Work closely with other ORTEC teams (support, product development, and sales), customer IT and business teams and third-party organizations to ensure successful project completion and high customer satisfaction. Recognize commercial opportunities for ORTEC Routing and Dispatch and share ideas about project and product improvement.

Who are you

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

5 years of experience in job offered or any related consultant job titles/roles. Applicants must have 5 years of experience in the following: (1) End-to-end solution design including delivering and dispatching solutions through requirement configuration, integration, testing, and rollout stages; (2) creation and execution of internal test scenarios; (3) Support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing Training; (4) front end (GUI) software configuration; (5) Baselining and optimization tuning; (6) deployment to customer environments; and (7) creation of interfaces using SQL, XML and XSL. 30% domestic travel required for client site visits, design discussion, and trainings. 30% domestic travel required for client site visits, design discussion, and trainings. Telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within the same geographic location as the assigned ORTEC office location.
