As an Office Assistant within the People & Culture department at ORTEC, you and your colleagues ensure that all facility-related matters run smoothly and efficiently.
The team in Zoetermeer consists of seven colleagues and is responsible for all facility-related services within ORTEC in the Netherlands. The team has a friendly, informal atmosphere where everyone has a voice. Colleagues are highly engaged and enjoy sharing knowledge with one another. Whenever possible, the team has lunch together, often followed by a walk, and regularly organizes team outings and social activities.
The team is responsible for, among other things, office accommodation, workplace management, event organization, and fleet management for ORTEC's offices in Zoetermeer, Amsterdam, and Groningen. Because of the wide variety of activities we handle, we are looking for a true facility all-rounder who enjoys a diverse and dynamic role.
Your Responsibilities
In this varied position, your responsibilities include:
Serving as the first on-site point of contact for colleagues and suppliers.
Organizing and supporting internal projects and events.
Creating purchase orders, processing requests, and managing inventory levels.
Performing administrative tasks in Microsoft Office and Exact Synergy, including asset management and access management.
Monitoring processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Supporting the reception desk during understaffing or peak periods.
Assisting the Technical Support Employee during absences or internal office relocations.
Organizing preventive workplace assessments and purchasing ergonomic equipment.
Managing Home Office Supplies.
Maintaining a visible presence throughout the office and actively engaging with colleagues.
Who Are You?
You are professional, service-oriented, friendly, and possess strong communication skills. You have completed an MBO-level qualification in Facility Management or a comparable program and are ready to take the first or second step in your facilities management career.
In addition, you:
Are proactive and capable of working independently and accurately.
Have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
Hold a valid Emergency Response Officer (BHV) certificate or are willing to obtain one through ORTEC.
Have experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Are preferably available 24 to 32 hours per week, including at least Wednesdays and Fridays.
What we offer
The salary range for this role is €2,600 - €3,500 gross per month on a full-time basis. The final offer will be determined based on the interview results and the agreed working hours (FTE).
This role will start with a fixed term of 12 months.
Holiday renumeration of 8%.
