The performance audit is designed to evaluate areas of your business and make recommendations for improvements where needed. The audit is proving useful in the areas of solution fit, workflow efficiencies, automation, optimization effectiveness, data management, education, and metric use.

This 3-day event takes place at your planning location(s). The meetings start with an overall business discussion on current challenges and goals. This sets the focus for the audit to ensure activities being viewed are later translated into overcoming the challenges or meeting the goals.

Next, we review the current organization structure and daily operating metrics are reviewed. This process aids the auditor in understanding the current business model for capturing recommended changes.

Then, over the next day and a half, the auditor(s) will watch planners work through their process and take detailed notes. The key areas of interest are how the planner works with the driver and equipment schedules, how they determine percentages of automated planning versus manually planning and why, data being used outside the system to make a planning decision, and the interaction of viewing data in the solution.

On the last day, we review the business metrics for understanding and how they are used. We provide report explanation and discover the gaps in data and understanding. We capture needed views and how they are used to continue advancing continuous improvement. Additionally, we provide an overall summary and ask further clarifying questions to ensure we understand all we have seen.
