We have been paying particularly close attention to user capabilities and education. Improving the knowledge and skills of the users has increased their day-to-day efficiency with the solution while providing better operating plans. This training as a service is a shift for ORTEC’s traditional “train the trainer” model and allows for improved user training and immediate access to ORTEC’s Education Factory to watch custom videos as refresher courses. Users now have the benefit of solution “know-how” at their fingertips.

Additionally, our industry team has been focusing on improving order generation (forecasting) and optimization tuning to improve customers’ delivery drop sizes and route sequences. This can result in overall cost reductions by visiting the customer less times per month and reducing miles with improved routes. The key to achieving these impacts starts with having accurate data and configuration settings along with user confidence in the solution.
