In the Netherlands about 550 children per year are diagnosed with cancer. Momentarily one out of 4 children dies because of this disease. In order to assure that more children survive this disease, the total care for children with cancer and the research is located in one spot at the Princes Máxima Centrum. There, oncologists, nurses and researches work closely together. With only one goal: ensuring that as many as possible children with cancer are cured.
