Woolworths operates over 1,000 supermarkets across Australia. Every year, Woolworths’ eCommerce business makes 24 million home deliveries to customers across Australia, and completes over 17 million Pick Up and Direct to Boot orders.

Woolworths’ partnership with ORTEC is set to boost efficient utilization of its delivery fleet and third-party logistics partners, such as Uber and DoorDash. A dynamic allocation model will help maximize fixed capacity utilization and enhance route efficiency. ORTEC’s e-Grocery Delivery solution will be instrumental in achieving this strategic ambition by enabling the efficient selection of the optimal fulfilment point (hub or store) and vehicle type to provide the best customer experience and efficiency.
