Job description

As a Functional Application Manager, you will help implement, improve, and support a growing suite of best‑of‑breed business applications at ORTEC. Our IT & Security department is transitioning from an all‑in‑one ERP solution to modern specialized tools, including new ticketing, CRM, HR, and financial systems.

Recently, Zendesk has been implemented as our new ticketing solution for Customer Support. In addition, HubSpot has been selected as our new CRM, and we are now entering the design and implementation phase. In this role, you will contribute directly to the HubSpot implementation while providing functional application management for Zendesk and other key applications.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organization to translate business needs into functional solutions, support users, manage application changes, and collaborate with vendors. You’ll play a key role in keeping our internal applications reliable, scalable, and aligned with ORTEC’s business processes.



Who are you

You are someone who enjoys combining analysis, configuration, implementation, and functional support. You like to understand how systems work, help users, and improve processes step by step. You can translate questions into clear functional solutions and enjoy working in an informal, supportive IT & Security team.


You have:

  • 2–4 years of experience in functional application management or application implementation.
  • Experience with business applications such as CRM, HRM, ticketing, or ERP systems, including familiarity with application integrations. Experience with Zendesk, HubSpot, Salesforce, Exact Synergy/Globe or similar tools is a plus.
  • The ability to analyze business needs and convert them into clear functional requirements or application configurations.
  • Experience handling incidents, changes, and testing during upgrades/enhancements.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with different types of stakeholders.
  • A structured, proactive way of working.
  • The ability and willingness to work at least 2 days per week in our Zoetermeer office.
