During Michael van Duijn's tenure, ORTEC developed into a globally leading company providing decision support technology in the fields of Supply Chain Planning, Workforce Management and Data Science & Consulting with 1000+ employees and €160M in revenues. Under his leadership, more focus was added to ORTEC’s solutions portfolio, while transitioning to a SaaS company with impact creation as its main driver. To prepare ORTEC for long-term growth, the organizational set-up was restructured and a strategic investment from Battery Ventures was secured to support mergers & acquisitions to accelerate for customers and the world around us.
