ORTEC is honored for supply chain achievements in Food & Drink, Retail & E-Commerce and Last-Mile Logistics categories
ORTEC is honored to announce that we have won three awards in the 2026 US Supply Chain Excellence Awards program, earning recognition in the Food & Drink, Retail & E-Commerce, and Last-Mile Logistics categories. The awards highlight ORTEC customer projects that delivered measurable improvements in visibility, efficiency, cost savings and delivery operations across complex supply chain networks.
Now in its 30th year, the Supply Chain Excellence Awards showcase organizations and initiatives demonstrating excellence across supply chain operations. The awards were established in London and are now in their third year in the United States.
At the center of these award-winning projects is ORTEC’s B2B Delivery Logistics software, which brings together load optimization, route planning, dispatch control and operational insight within a connected delivery planning environment. The software helps organizations address complex delivery challenges across industries, with AI-powered recommendations enabling planners to improve capacity utilization, reduce costs and respond to changes throughout the day. Together, the three recognized projects demonstrate how ORTEC’s technology can be applied across different delivery environments to generate measurable operational and financial results.
The three winning projects include:
Food & Drink: ORTEC developed a specialized real-time dispatch dashboard for a leading beverage company operating more than 5,600 routes and 20,000 tractors and trailers daily. The solution extended real-time visibility across more than 300 depots, helping teams identify operational risks earlier and improve coordination between planning and execution.
Retail & E-Commerce: ORTEC helped a major grocery retail group scale online delivery across 29 fulfillment centers handling more than 85,000 delivery stops per day. Within seven months, the program delivered more than 200% of its anticipated savings, or approximately $1 in savings per order, while also improving delivery performance and driver satisfaction.
Last-Mile Logistics: ORTEC helped one of North America's largest home and office delivery networks redesign its routing and scheduling operations. The initiative delivered more than $20 million in first-year cost savings, improved plan miles per stop by 11% and reduced miles driven by 1.67 million year over year.
