Gasunie has bent over backwards to make that happen.”

Trendwatcher and founder of Supply Chain Media Martijn Lofvers has said it countless times before: 80% of corporate sustainability goals are achieved in the supply chain. He is absolutely certain: "Only the supply chain can save the world. Governments won’t do what is needed, so it is up to businesses to take charge. Meanwhile, the Supply Chain department can make sure that we produce closer to home and cut carbon emissions."

Two of them are pre-operations, used to simulate alternative scenarios and generate input for daily operations. The other two are post-operations, where we learn from the execution to continuously improve your business. By combining pre- and post-operations, you create a learning loop to improve your efficiency and service.
